Fishtown Players and Senior Center Announce New Readers Theatre Program
The Fishtown Players, in collaboration with the Rose Baker Senior Center, are thrilled to announce a new 6-week Readers Theatre program this Fall beginning October 8th.
This exciting new initiative invites all interested senior thespians to participate in the reading and dramatization of scripts each week. No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to read and create characters in imaginative worlds! Whether you’ve always wanted to try your hand at drama or simply wish to keep your existing skills sharp, this program offers a welcoming and fun-loving environment to role play.
Facilitated by Michael McNamara and Jay DiPrima, participants will have the opportunity to explore monologues, dialogues, short scenes, and plays every Wednesday afternoon. This program provides a safe and supportive space to delve into the joy of performance and collaborative storytelling.

- Who: Community members who are 60+ years of age
- When: 6-week program, Fall 2025, Wednesday afternoons 2-3 pm
