This heaven-sent comedy takes southern charm, infuses it with a pinch of hellfire and a dollop of damnation. A timid Catholic spinster Margaret (Jessie Sorrels) politely invites door-to-door evangelist Melissa (Lauren Ashly Suchecki) into her home, much to the chagrin of her ornery sister Mary (Kristine Burke). A plan to ambush the earnest ‘guest’, with the aid of their unsuspecting parish priest (Jay DiPrima), sets the scene for a theological smackdown about religion, faith and morals. This comedy both crackles with wit and brims with emotion.
