Fishtown Players and Rose Baker Center Announce Readers Theatre Program Back by Popular Demand!
The Fishtown Players, in collaboration with the Rose Baker Center for Aging Well, are thrilled to announce another 6 week Readers Theatre program this Fall beginning Thursday, September 3rd, 2026
This exciting new initiative invites all interested older adult thespians to participate in the reading and dramatization of scripts each week. No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to read and create characters in imaginative worlds! Whether you’ve always wanted to try your hand at drama or simply wish to keep your existing skills sharp, this program offers a welcoming and fun-loving environment to role play with quality scripts.
Facilitated by Michael McNamara and Jay DiPrima, participants will have the opportunity to explore monologues, dialogues, short scenes, and plays every Thursday afternoon. This program provides a safe and supportive space to delve into the joy of performance and collaborative storytelling.
